The New Era Missionary Baptist District Association Congress of Christian Education Youth Scholarship is open to High School Seniors that currently attend one of the district churches. Those applying for the Congress of Christian of Education scholarship must be active in their church and district. The winner of this scholarship will be notified in July before the Annual Session. The Scholarship will be sent to the college of record on this form for books or tuition.

Program Guidelines & Priorities: 

* Seeking graduating seniors with a record of local church participation AND district involvement.

* Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 a total family annual income under $50,000, and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school.

* Scholarship funds will be paid in September 2016 for the first semester of the student’s first year directly to the college and not to the student.

* Applicants must have the endorsement of their Youth Director on their application attesting they are a qualified fit for this scholarship program.  We strongly suggests that each church present this opportunity to the strongest applicants that match this program’s guidelines. Application deadline is June 15, 2016. Late applications are not accepted.
